Never Ever Give Up!

“Small victories are worth celebrating.”

We’re a results oriented society, so we tend to hold off celebrations until we’ve reached our final goal. But the truth is that every day holds wonderful successes and important victories. I’m talking about celebrating progress.

Progress can be realizing mini-goals that lead to your ultimate goal, or it can be something more subtle or unexpected, something that happens that has meaning for you. For example, perhaps you were blamed for something at work that was not your fault. Instead of remaining quiet, you confidently stood your ground. Maybe you received a compliment and were surprised by how good it made you feel.

The really wonderful thing about moments like these are that they can happen anytime and sometimes when you least expect them. They can also turn everything around. Just when you begin to second guess yourself, you’re reminded of your progress.

Don’t give up. You are making progress!

Bust Out of Your Rut

“Change is a good thing- really.”

It’s easy to get into ruts, and some of them are so deep rooted we don’t give them a second thought. If we’re honest though, we’ll realize that much of what we routinely do works against our goals.

You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge, so today, try to examine of some of your routines that might be sabotaging your ambitions. Do you have any?

Over the next week, pay attention to things you do automatically. Then, in each situation, figure out ways you can fine-tune your routines to make them a little more goal oriented.

For example, if you have been trying to fit exercise into your day, instead of hanging out in the lunch room, use your break to walk with a friend. If you’re trying to save money and you have a habit of stopping at Starbucks, why not bring a thermos of coffee to work instead?

Sure, it won’t be easy at first, but with a little tweaking here and there, you really can find ways to change your routine to help you meet your goals. And that’s a good thing!

Today’s Affirmation: I have changed my routine and I’m achieving my goals

Become stronger, braver, disciplined, driven and focused.

“Why not now?”

You’re going to get serious about finding a new job; really you are. You’re just going to wait until you win the lotto before you go on vacation. And yes, you honestly want to get in shape and lose weight but you’ll wait until your schedule lightens up. Does any of this sound familiar?

Procrastination can undo even the best of intentions. The truth is procrastination is a vicious cycle.

“I’ll get it done today!” becomes “I really meant to, I’ll do it tomorrow for sure.” Before you know it, today has turned into tomorrow; those tomorrows have added up and turned into months, sometimes years. The bottom line is you have made no progress. You’re exactly where you’ve always been.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way! You can stop the cycle by taking action. All you have to do is make a start; you don’t have to take on the world and do everything at once. Take baby steps. Make one phone call, go to the gym one day, take one step toward you goals.

The more you push against tendencies to procrastinate, the easier it is to bust free and realize your goals.

Forever Love

250
Even tho we are miles and miles apart,
You have managed to steal my heart,
I long to lay in your arms,
So you can work your magical charms.

I could feel you were the one deep in my soul,
Finding everlasting love was my goal,
You have captured my heart like a pirate in high seas,
Please take me in your arms would you please?

To heights like I’ve never known,
Make me gasp and make me groan,
Honey, I love you with all my heart,
Forever together, let’s never part.

Jason, make sweet love to me,
In your arms I want to be,
We will make sweet love together
In ectasy as light as a feather!

The Secret to the Momentum of Motivation

“Motivation comes from action.”

Motivation comes from doing, moving and taking action!

The real excitement begins when you start something and see it begin to take shape. Once you experience success as a direct result of your efforts and enthusiasm, your motivation will rise and carry you through.

If you are waiting to feel motivated, just do something. Just start! Make your motto, “No more waiting – just doing!” That is the secret to the momentum of motivation.

Motivation to Get Fit

“Get Motivated, Get Active, Get Fit!”

Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to stick to a lifestyle change when you do it with a friend? A friend sticks by your side and brings motivation, accountability and cheers of enthusiasm.

When you get fit with a friend, you have someone who shares your victories. You can both celebrate and be proud of your accomplishments.

Stop waiting for that perfect day to make some changes and join forces with a friend. Make the commitment to one another that you will stick together through thick to thin.

Eating well, being active and feeling good about yourself are essential to feeling healthy, alert and alive. You already know this. So why not start now?

How to Achieve Great Things

You’re as great as your thoughts.”

Imagine your ideal self – a person filled with health, happiness and prosperity. Imagine living the life of your dreams.

This life is not as distant or unreachable as it may seem. You are a reflection of your thoughts. If you think you can do great things, you will. If you think you can’t, you won’t.

For change to happen you need to enlarge your thoughts. You need to hold a vision of yourself that will carry you through adversity and give you the strength to climb mountains.

So, hold your ideal self in your thoughts. Stay true to it. You will become as great as what you hold in your mind.

Secrets

I should have kept my secret
It was a big mistake
Although I always wondered
What difference it would make

I should have kept my secret
Should have kept it in my heart
I’m hoping I am strong enough
To not let this tear us apart

I should have kept the secret
I was really quite naïve
To think that this tangled web
I could once again unweave

I should have kept my secret
I’ve done it well before
But now it’s in the open
And my heart it very sore

I always sat and wondered
What difference it would make
I guess I have my answer
But it’s too late to take it back

My question now to you, my luv
Is: what’s it gonna be?
Was there a lesson learned thru this
Or do you continue hurting me?
