Tired of Life Pushing You Around?

“Change makes the difference.”

If you want your life to be something other than it is right now, your only true option is change. Change takes courage and isn’t easy, especially if you’re feeling safe and secure with the way things are.

The hardest part about change is instigating it. This feels risky, but once you take that first step you set things in motion.

Today, is your day to take that first step and stop letting life push you around. Today, is the day you take charge of the changes you need to make in your life.

Start by identifying small things that you would like to change, just tiny things – things that are holding you back. Make a promise to yourself. Then, stick to that promise and watch yourself change. As you tackle small changes, your confidence will grow. You’ll find that bigger changes don’t seem insurmountable. And, most important, that change is rewarding and fun, after all!

Rediscover Spontaneity

“Adventure is as near as stepping out your front door…”

Too often we think of adventure as this big event that we have to plan way in advance. We think arrangements must be made, schedules coordinated, flights booked, time off secured, etc. With such planning the “adventure” of the adventure is easily lost.

Adventure is really a decision to do something that inspires awe, from within. It can be simple, uncomplicated and spontaneous.

When you’re out and about, today, try to look at things in a new way. Approach your tasks with a fresh sense of curiosity. See something new, smell something new, touch something new.

Dare to explore and enjoy the experience of living. You will discover that adventure is easily found in an otherwise ordinary day.

Today’s Affirmation: I find adventure in my daily living.

Good afternoon

noon

Good afternoon everyone and good morning to some of you here. I’m going for lunch soon. When i check in a social website, I feel sad and everyone is talking how the dirty our government is.

I wear black today because i am in mourning for my country. I mourn fair and clean elections. I mourn my fellow Malaysians alike. They may have won the battle today but we will still win this WAR when the time comes against them. UBAH!!!!

I even saw someone post this to President Obama :-

Dear President Obama,Sorry for disturbing you.
I am a citizen from Malaysia, on 5/5/2013, we have our own country election.
And now we all are so disappointed with the dirty tricks played by the Barisan Nasional (BN).
Have you ever seen any election day which has so much electricity stoppage suddenly in the vote counting area?
And then suddenly appear a few more boxes of votes suddenly came after the electricity restores.
Many of our people are really sad and can’t do anything about this.
The election process is controlled by the Barisan Nasional people also.
The reason why our profile pic is in black is
because we are really disappointed with the election here is too dirty.
In short, please save Malaysia!

I feel so sad seeing all those but I believe God is watching what they been doing.

Super Charge your energy at work

Super Charge Your Energy at Work: 10 Ways

1. Start Your Day With a Workout

You would think a big workout would make you tired, but actually getting that blood pumping first thing will keep you going for the day. Don’t forget a good breakfast as well, solid fuel to stoke the day’s fire.
2. Take a 20-minute Power Nap

Of course you don’t want your colleagues to see you sleeping on the job, but studies have shown that a brief power nap can help revitalize you for the whole day. One employer I know actually set up a motorized massage chair in a designated “nap room” for employees and requires they use it for breaks. Check out Inc. columnist Jessica Stillman’s power nap primer.
3. Remove All Personal Grudges

All that emotional baggage takes its toll day in and day out. Whether it’s anger you feel for a coworker or even someone who is distant from work, the emotions can be distracting and absorb energy. We like to think we can ignore the feelings, but often we just mask them and that takes energy in and of itself. Make a list of your grudges and commit time to reconcile each of them until they are gone. Soon you’ll feel like someone added minutes to your clock every day.
4. Take a 15-minute Humor Break

Laughter is a natural energizer. Those endorphins from chuckles are as good for you as a solid workout. Sign up for the joke of the day, or cruise YouTube for some funny videos. Grab some colleagues and have a joke pow-wow. You’ll lighten the atmosphere all around, and help everyone feel good about the rest of the day. This is a good one for 2:30 in the afternoon when the classic after lunch doze is coming on.
5. Take a 15-minute Walk

Sometimes we just need to get out. It doesn’t matter if the weather is hot, cold or rainy, getting up from that chair and computer can rejuvenate your body and your mind. Leave the smartphone behind as well. Stretch, breathe and take in the outdoors to feel refreshed and awake.
6. Read Something Fun During Lunch

A little escape is good to clear the mind and reset your energy. Short stories are my favorite for lunch breaks. Not only are they entertaining, but finishing one at lunch gives you a sense of completion which helps boost your confidence to get back and fight through the day. Try a classic like Mark Twain or Rudyard Kipling, and you’ll feel like you are doing something worthwhile with your time.
7. Resolve Any Conflicts With Your Boss or Colleagues

Concern over conflict can eat away at your attention and tire you quickly. Don’t hold back. Confront issues head on. If you are open, empathetic, and diplomatic in your approach you may forge a closer bond that will make coming days easier to enjoy.
8. Do Something Nice For a Colleague

Energy is easily transmitted from person to person. This tip helps on so many levels. It’s energizing to think about someone else, the actual act of giving creates a natural high, and of course gratitude provides plenty of energy as well. Try this hat-trick every day for a week and feel the surprising buzz.
9. Call a Good Friend and Chat for 15 Minutes

Nothing perks up my day more than time with a close friend. Whether it’s quick catch up, or a chance to vent some of the day’s frustrations, this short, fun reconnect will recharge your batteries and give you the support required to battle any tough day. The best part is that you will give your friend the same benefit.
10. Make Sure Your Work Activity is Fulfilling

If you hate what you do then none of my suggestions and no amount of caffeine will energize you enough to grind out depressing workdays continuously. Find a way to get paid doing what you enjoy. No need to make yourself and everyone around you miserable. Life is short and you are entitled to enjoy every day of it.

12 Ways to Make Today More Joyful

1. Go Learn Something New

You can learn something simple from an online class or something involved like a new language. Either way you’ll stimulate your mind and enjoy accomplishment.
2. Compete Hard for a Promotion

Many people just assume they are entitled to promotion, but why not work hard for it? The preparation and lobbying will give you thrills and energy. Especially if you win.
3. Start a Business

You don’t have to be the next Mark Zuckerberg. But even creating an Etsy store can inspire you to think in new ways and add extra money to your wallet.
4. Engage With Nature

A sterile cubicle can suck the life out you. Go camping in the wilderness or boating on a lake. The views, color, and fresh air will regenerate your energy… naturally.
5. Do Something that Frightens You

Nothing says excitement like a little adrenaline. Try skydiving or public speaking. Even a sober trip to the karaoke bar can give you a new jolt of self-confidence that will energize you.
6. Check Out Boarding School for Your Kids

Yes, we all love the little tykes, but often they can suck the lifeblood out of us. Just learning that you have viable alternatives to your current domestic environment may feel like a breath of fresh air.
7. Remove Those Who Bore You

Stop hanging out with dull people who have no life and make you unhappy. Tell them to step up or go away. (This includes spouses and significant others.) Surround yourself with the most talented, fascinating people you can find. Just make sure you bring something to the table as well.
8. Create a Useful and Funny Video

Everyone deals with something at the work that irks the team. Video is cheap and easy. Get people involved in making a tasteful but funny video that makes the point about cleaning the fridge or speaking softer on the phone. Here is everything you need.
9. Visit Another Country

Maybe you need a totally different perspective. Forget that stay-cation and see how other people really live. Do a home exchange and live like the French, Spanish or Croatians.
10. Do Something Physically Active

Physical activity alleviates stress and releases endorphins and gets creative juices flowing. Some of my best ideas have come during workouts. Go bike, run, kayak, skate, etc. It’ll feel good and make you look good too.
11. Quit Your Job

Stop doing what you hate and start doing what you love! Yes these are hard economic times, but no one should live in daily misery from a job. Go see a career counselor and find something that excites you.
12. Plan Your Preferred Destiny

For those of you serious about taking control of your life, start now! Grab someone you trust and have a serious discussion about who you want to be when you grow up. Then hold each other accountable. I did this effectively this year. If you need help with a process, contact me and I’ll send you my free workbook.

Know What is Best for YOU

“Depend on your inner guide.”

When others give you advice, they may be right and they may be wrong. They may share your values and priorities, or they may not.

Rely on your inner judgment and intuition instead, and you’ll stay on the right track.

You know inside what’s best for you. If you follow this code, you’ll stick by your principles, values and beliefs.

What’s more, even if things don’t work out, you’ll have the comfort of knowing you did what you thought was best for you. And, that’s always the right thing to do!

Survive Rough Times

“When the going gets rough, you need self-worth.”

When you’re looking good on the outside, with a new outfit or haircut, your day goes more smoothly and you handle setbacks more easily. This feels good and helps us handle the daily grind. But, tackling challenges is much easier and more dramatic when you feel good about yourself on the inside!

A strong self-worth builds personal resilience, which helps you face challenges and bounce back from adversity. You grow stronger from the inside out, and feel the confidence to persevere and move forward with enthusiasm.

So when things go wrong, don’t reach for your credit card. Instead, reach inside for that priceless deposit of self-worth!

Comfort zone

I use to have a comfort zone
Where I knew I couldn’t fail
The same four walls of busy work
Were really more like jail

I longed so much to do the things
I’d never done before
But I stays inside my comfort zone
And pace the same old floor

I said it didn’t matter
That I wasn’t doing much
I said I didn’t care for things
Like diamonds, furs and such

I claimed to be so busy
With the things inside my zone
But deep inside I longed for
Something special of my own

I couldn’t let my life go by
Just watching others win
I held my breath and stepped outside
And let the change begin

I took a step and with new strength
I’d never felt before
I kissed my Comfort Zone ‘goodbye’
And closed and locked the door

If you are in a Comfort Zone
Afraid to venture out
Remember that all winners were
At one time filled with doubt

A step or two and words of praise
Can make your dreams come true
Greet your future with a smile
Success is there for you !

So my dearest friends, get out of your comfort zone and do the things you’ve always wanted to do in your life ? You will have a happier, more successful and fulfilled life ! :) )

Gone Too Soon

399380_292382240860357_275692744_n

You left too soon to hear the words
I wanted desperately to say
In just one fleeting moment
you had to go away
Unfinished thoughts and memories
vanished in thin air
I will always think about you
with the hope that you are still there
Looking down from a better place
living happily in peace
a far cry from the life that you once had
harsh words spoken in anger
never meant to be
I never had a chance to take them back
As a teen i was too blind to see
I hope my prayers have reached you
and I have touched you in some way
forgiveness of the the heart is what
I am seeking.
Tender words were left unspoken
the scars of guilt they still remain
It was never my intention to create
such hurt and pain
I smile at your picture everyday
In your eyes you know that i see me
you gave to me the best of yourself
not knowing what i would grow up to be
There is a tender feeling that i have inside me
Soft cold tears form in my eyes today
I realize that I have you near me
you’re a precious part of me in every way
When I stop and take a glimpse of heaven
I realize that you have always been with me
Guiding me down the right path
releasing my pain to set me free
your love guided me through some troubled times
lifting me up when i was feeling down
Mom, you never really left me
removing the sadness from a frown
I thank God for the love you have given
I carry it to share with those i love
and whenever I seek to find you
you live within me and i dont have to look above
from this moment on,
i feel a fire burning
Its the flame of love that existed once before
But it seems to burn a little brighter
and the pain and guilt have gone for sure
I am happy that i had a chance to talk to you
To let you know exactly how i feel
and even though you left this world
a long time ago
The love that lives inside me is so real
heart to heart we have each other
soul to soul we live in kind
you will truly never lose your mother
shes a thought away deep inside your mind
