Know for Sure What’s Best for You

“Your hunch is trying to tell you something.”

How many times have you said to yourself, “I knew I should have done that” or “Why didn’t I listen to myself?” Your intuition was talking to you, and you ignored it. Often your intuition gets dismissed because it tells you something that doesn’t fit with your logical or habitual way of thinking.

Trust yourself. Your intuition is very powerful. It will lead you down the best possible path for you, if you let it. The next time you have a hunch about a certain idea to pursue, a decision to make or a person to contact, do it.

When you trust your intuition, you live with no regrets.

Tired of Life Pushing You Around?

“Change makes the difference.”

If you want your life to be something other than it is right now, your only true option is change. Change takes courage and isn’t easy, especially if you’re feeling safe and secure with the way things are.

The hardest part about change is instigating it. This feels risky, but once you take that first step you set things in motion.
Today, is your day to take that first step and stop letting life push you around. Today, is the day you take charge of the changes you need to make in your life.

Start by identifying small things that you would like to change, just tiny things – things that are holding you back. Make a promise to yourself. Then, stick to that promise and watch yourself change. As you tackle small changes, your confidence will grow. You’ll find that bigger changes don’t seem insurmountable. And, most important, that change is rewarding and fun, after all!

Power Shifting

By Marcia Wieder

Imagine how your life could improve if you could shift your state of being, attitude and mindset gracefully and easily anytime you choose. In this article I will show you how you can do this in three easy steps.

I was attending a convention recently that I have gone to for the last 5 years that has typically been excellent for my business. But this year as I stood sentinel at my booth, I felt tired. People smiled and said hello as they walked by, but few were stopping to visit.

My insecurity activated my doubt and I began to wonder why I was here. The internal dialogue kicked in as I began to convince myself I should skip the rubber chicken dinner, retire early and think about cutting the trip short.

Luckily, I was listening and caught myself in the act.
I asked myself why I was here and what did I want to create or make happen. That answer was simple. My intention was to book business, but since I had little enthusiasm about this at the moment, I opened to an intention that would support me in this moment.

I have written much about intention, but you can use this powerful principle quite proactively. I decided my intention was to have fun and create business opportunities, but to put the emphasis on having a good time. And the belief I chose to use to reinforce this was, “I have fun wherever I go.”

Within minutes a woman I have known (at a distance) for many years stopped by and we had a light hearted chat. Previously, we had not exchanged more than a few words, but the conversation was quite enjoyable. Then, out of the blue, she invited me to a karaoke party, explaining that there was a whole, fun crowd who never went to the chicken dinner. Aligned with my new intention, I agreed to stop by.

I found a fabulous community of people who were laughing, singing and carrying on. I joined in for a few dances and a glass of Cabernet and honestly, this was one of the most fun times I ever had at a convention. And oh, by the way, that evening, without any effort whatsoever, I was booked for two big jobs with new clients, people I had never met before.

Forget trying hard. Learn to shift on a dime by choosing to set empowering intentions and beliefs. This will support you in changing life or better yet, allowing life to shift around you. Now that’s powerful.

The 3 steps are:
Choose an intention that will shift your reality including how you feel right now.

Decide what is the highest/best belief you could choose to support this new intention.

Allow the shift to occur. It may start internally as you notice you feel differently. Or you may notice it first around you as your circumstances or the people around you shift.

How to Achieve Great Things

You’re as great as your thoughts.”

Imagine your ideal self – a person filled with health, happiness and prosperity. Imagine living the life of your dreams.

This life is not as distant or unreachable as it may seem. You are a reflection of your thoughts. If you think you can do great things, you will. If you think you can’t, you won’t.

For change to happen you need to enlarge your thoughts. You need to hold a vision of yourself that will carry you through adversity and give you the strength to climb mountains.

So, hold your ideal self in your thoughts. Stay true to it. You will become as great as what you hold in your mind.

Enjoy What REALLY Matters

“Slow down and enjoy the things that really matter.”

Is your Outbox being squeezed shut by all the “to-dos” in your Inbox? Do you feel like there is not enough time in the day to get everything done? If so, it’s time to simplify your life.

When you do, you have more time for the things that are important to you, like reading, traveling, entertaining, exercising, visiting with friends, etc.

Look for ways to simplify your daily chores. It can be done through better organization, changing some old habits, simply saying, “No,” or, even asking for help.

Slowing down is something you need to do, for your physical, mental and emotional health. So, take it slow – and enjoy!

Rejuvenate Yourself

“Walking is moving meditation.”

If your life is going in a hundred different directions and moving a million miles an hour, walking may make the burden easier to handle.

Walking allows you to focus on being fully present. It provides you with an opportunity to mull over something that may be on your mind. It gives you a chance to take in the beauty and bounty that surrounds you. Walking can be a time for self-discovery, a time to reconnect with wholeness and harmony.

Take 15-minutes today, and just walk. Let your mind rest. Savor the physical and emotional benefits you gain from moving your body.

This is rejuvenation at its best!

The Billionaire’s Proxy – Chapter 15

The sheer cold shock of the water knocked the breath out of Robyn’s chest as she foundered on the hard uneven surface of the river bed. How the water could still be so freezing cold defied belief. She struggled to keep her head above water while she tried to gain a foothold, anything to get some purchase on the slippery rocks and get upright again.

Strong hands suddenly hooked under her arms and lifted her clear, holding her steady as her feet found some stability in the raging water.

A shiver rocked through her. Strange, the rain actually felt warmer than the river coursing around her legs, and Jon’s hands were even warmer.

“Come on, I’ll take you back to the cabin. You can’t go on like this.”

She wanted to argue with him, to tell him where he could stick his cabin, but the lure of a hot shower spoke volumes to her frozen skin and chattering teeth.

“Okay,” she managed begrudgingly.

They completed the journey back to the cabin at a surprisingly quick pace. She wasn’t sure if it was Jon’s intention to keep her moving to warm her up, or whether he was simply eager to get out of the weather. It was depressing to realize how little distance she’d actually traveled in her attempt to strike out for Tautara on her own. At the rate she’d been going, even if she’d made it safely across the water, she’d have been lucky to get to the lodge by evening.

She was so lost in her thoughts, she never noticed the broken branch across the path until her foot caught in it, pitching headlong toward Jon’s back. He spun around even as she cried out and arrested her fall, pulling her hard against his body. She relished the sensation of warmth and comfort as his broad hand spread across her back.

“You okay?” he said, his voice gruff.

“I’ll be okay. I’m too tired to look where I’m going—and now I’ve made you all wet.”

“It’s okay. We can both warm up in the hot tub when we get back. It’ll do us the world of good.”

He took her by the hand and to her shame she clutched onto him like a grateful child.

“Hot tub?” Robyn didn’t remember seeing a tub in the bathroom. While the fittings had been undeniably luxurious they hadn’t extended to a tub.

“Yeah, through the French doors from the bedroom. C’mon, we’re only about five minutes away.”

It was the longest five minutes of her life. The constant drum of the rain through the dense foliage, the slipperiness of the path and the tiredness that assailed her all conspired to make her feet drag and her head swim. By the time the cabin came into view it was all she could do to ascend the steps to the deck.

“Here, you look shattered.” Jon hooked an arm around her waist and led her around to the side of the cabin. He propped her against the wall. “Stay there while I take the cover off.”

Robyn knew she should move, do something—anything—to get the soaking wet clothing away from her body and to remove the boots that had begun to chafe during their trek back, but everything was too much effort. Get a grip on yourself, she silently chastised, and forced herself to bend down to attempt to undo her laces. Her fingers were stiff and uncooperative. Long strong fingers gently brushed her hands away and Jon eased the stubborn laces loose on her boots and slid the wet leather from her feet. Her socks and jeans were swift to follow, then her top. The silk would never be the same again, she realized with a woeful thought as he peeled the fabric from her upper torso.

Without pausing he scooped her up in his arms and carried her over to the tub, gently settling her in the water.

She drew in a sharp breath as the heated water stung her skin, then closed her eyes and relaxed her head back against the cushioned headrest on the side of the tub. A swish in the water made her look up.

A new kind of heat drew suddenly from her inner depths to bloom across her skin. Jon stood before her in the water. Like her, he’d stripped off his wet clothes, but unlike her, he’d removed his underwear. Which left him totally naked.

‘The Law of Attraction in Your Favor by Natalie Ledwell

Something my friends have often asked me is, “Natalie, why are you so lucky? The perfect business partners fall into your lap, your Mind Movies business keeps growing, and you even find a parking spot every time you need one.”

I always appreciate comments like that and the truth is I don’t believe in luck. What I don’t always share is that I have a little “assist” to get me the good stuff in life, and that is the Law of Attraction.

Through some simple strategies, I’ve been able to become successful in several areas in a very short period of time.

I want to share with you the basics of the Law of Attraction and how you can use it to help you make more money, have a better relationship with your family, be healthier, more energetic and be happier in every area of your life.

The most successful people I know are making the most of the Law of Attraction, whether they know it or not.

In fact, we’re learning that science backs up what Law of Attraction students have always known but that is another article all of its own.

You see, when you follow the ideas of the Law of Attraction and take a positive and empowering mindset, the universe steps in and three things happen:

1. You recognize more opportunities and take advantage of them.

2. People respond to you more positively and offer you the assistance you’re looking for

3. You find yourself coming up with the most incredible ideas to reach your goals and you wonder why you never thought of these before!

You know what the best part is about the Law of Attraction? You don’t even need to believe it to make it work for you! All you need to do is apply the basic principles and you will be astounded at the results.

Now, I’m going to give you a few of my core strategies to get the Law of Attraction to work for me. Over the years I’ve seen that these strategies work for anyone who simply applies them.

That’s how I know they will work for you too, no matter where you are financially or how much spare time you have.

3 Principles to Using the Law of Attraction

Principle #1: Get really clear with what you actually want

If I were to ask you what you want in life, what would you say?

For a lot of people, it’s “Arghhh anything but this!” It’s much easier to know what we don’t want. Because of that, it’s what we tend to constantly think about.

We don’t like being stuck in traffic, we don’t like disappointment, and we don’t like mountains of debt.

The problem is that whatever you focus on tends to expand. Any time you think strongly about something you hate, you put energy into whatever you’re thinking about and attract more of the same.

Instead, switch it around to thinking about what you DO want. Maybe it’s a 30-hour work week or the ability to spend more time with your loved ones.

If it’s difficult to think about what you want, I have an exercise for you. Take a piece of paper and split it into three columns. In the first, write what you don’t want. In the second, write the opposite of that, which is what you do want. In the third column, write briefly why you want it. This will help you get clear on your goals and motivate you to focus on them.

Principle #2: Feel good and visualize what you want, making sure to feel the emotions flooding through you

To use the Law of Attraction to your advantage, you’re going have to make some changes in how you think. You need to feel happy and confident, both about your goals coming true, and about life in general.

This is the part where a lot of people have trouble. You see, unless you can actually feel the emotions of having already achieved what it is you want, you won’t get the best benefits from using the Law of Attraction.

Each day you should close your eyes and when focusing on your goals see in your mind’s eye that it has already come true. Also make sure you FEEL the emotions of already having everything in existence right now. Basically, you should fully visualize yourself already living your dream life and experience those emotions of gratitude, accomplishment, joy and peace.

Once you have nurtured this mindset, it’s typical to start having those things start physically appearing in your life, one way or another.

A great tool to help you stay focused is to create a list of positive affirmations in the present tense that represent what you want, such as “Every month I pay my bills with plenty left over,” or “I am so happy I can’t stop smiling”.

When you’re visualizing, repeat this affirmations to yourself, almost like a personal mantra, to get yourself pumped up and really feeling the emotion. Get excited because you’re starting to learn how great things will be when you have your goals.

When I tell this to students and friends, I often hear, “Natalie, how in the world am I supposed to find the time to think happy thoughts and focus on goals? I barely get through the day as it is!”

My answer to that is, “Well tell me… how much time do you set aside every day to think about problems and worry about silly things that will probably never happen?”

The truth is that there are actually two types of time, internal time and external time, and they don’t always line up.

Right now, you probably have dozens of thoughts a minute you’re conscious of, and thousands of thoughts you’re unconscious of. If you simply use your downtime to think positively, whether you’re waiting in line, working out, or driving, you’ll be amazed at how much the world will open up for you.

Principle #3: Take action when appropriate

One of the hang-ups that a lot of people have with the Law of Attraction is the idea that good things can come to you without hard work.

Don’t get me wrong; you can still work hard if you want to. However, the more you follow the principles I’ve outlined so far, the less struggle you have to go through when taking action.

You see, no matter what path you’re on, there’s probably an easier way you haven’t thought of yet. Using the Law of Attraction is the surest way to cut down the effort needed for success.

But, the truth is, you do need to take some action if you want to give the Universe the best opportunities to provide you with what you want, but the most important point to remember is that you don’t need to see the whole plan.

To take action, you just need to take a single step in the direction of your goal. Just keep focusing on the next step, that’s all you need to do as far as action!

So, when you see something in front of you that seems applicable to your goals in life, don’t hesitate for a single second. Take whatever action step you see and just watch what happens.

You’ll see that once you’ve finished each step, a new one on the invisible staircase will become apparent to you. As you start gaining momentum, the entire staircase begins to reveal itself, often showing you so much more than you ever expected or dreamed at the top.

If you follow the three principles I’ve outlined, you’ll begin to start seeing incredible opportunity everywhere you look….

…Someone you meet at a party might pass you a business card and reveal she’s an insider in an industry you’ve wanted to open a business in.

…You might take a wrong turn and find yourself in front of a hidden mall with incredible deals that shave tons of savings off your monthly bills.

In my experience, if you’re prepared to take action, but open to the idea that it could be easy, things tend to just fall into place so you slide through life a lot more smoothly.

Happy Manifesting!!

Stop Anxious Thoughts

“Free yourself from anxiety by chasing away the ‘What-if’s?’”

“What-if?” So many negative thoughts start with these two words. “What if I’m late for work?” “What if I don’t lose weight?” “What if I don’t go to my friends for dinner because I’m too tired?” What if…what if…what…if!

Each anxious thought leads to another anxious thought, and another – only to feed a negative spiral of worry. Before you know it, your heart races, it’s hard to breathe and there’s a knot in your stomach the size of a pot roast.

Catch yourself! Next time you fall in to the “what-if” trap, stop it in its tracks. Turn your thinking in a positive direction. It takes time and consistent practice, but the freedom from anxiety is well worth the effort.
