My Vacation

Langkawi- Day 3

This morning we wake up late because we had only had one place to want to go is the Underwater world. We had our breakfast and check out bout 9.30am. We thought the underwater world open at 9.30am..but it open at 10am. Underwater world features the island’s rich treasure trove of marine life. Located at the popular Cenang Beach, this aquarium features more than 5,000 types of aquatic life, exhibited in more than 100 tanks of different sizes. The highlight is a giant tank housing large marine species such as sharks, stingray, moray eels and green turtles, with a 15 metre tunnel for visitors to walk through. At the new wing, visitors have the chance to view the latest additions to the underwater world- penguins and seals ! The penguins include Sub Antarctic Rockhoppers and Black footed species from Africa. The former is fed at 11.30 am and 3.30pm, while later at 9.30am and 2.30pm. the harbor seals are fed at 11am and 3pm daily. Drop by these hours for a delightful experience ! This new facility also has a three dimensional (3D) theatre that airs informative documentaries on the island’s marine life.

We had lunch, than we heading to the airport, our flights was 2.15pm, but it was delay for another 15 min. Well…that all our 3D 2N stay at Langkawi – The Jewel of Kedah.
