A vision is an inspired idea. It is a concept that motivates you and pushes you into action.

You know when a vision hits you, by the energy and excitement you feel. A clear vision gets you charged and keeps you going. The very thought fills you with energy and positive feelings.

Your visions inspire a sense of purpose and direction. They give you a target to aim for, an aspiration to live for. With the motivation that comes from visions, you can transform yourself and your life.

Once you have a vision in mind, use the energy it inspires to create a plan. Then, imagine the plan in motion and the vision achieved. That’s how visions become realities!

Handle Impossible Situations

“A positive attitude is within your reach.”

There will be times when you find yourself in situations that seem impossible to deal with. Maybe you are in one, now. Perhaps you’re in a dead end job, or a relationship that seems to be going nowhere. Maybe your family is driving you crazy.

Whatever your situation, remember, many women have stood in your shoes. They found a way to overcome obstacles and solve problems. But, how did they do it? They figured out a way to keep a positive attitude through the hardest of times. They did not focus on the gloom, but on the resolutions. If they could do it, so can you.

A positive attitude is yours for the making. Grab it now and turn those bad situations into mere bumps in the road of life.

What Your Doubts are Trying to Tell You

“Doubts a way to learn, not a way of life.”

Millions of people have doubts every day. Nobody is immune. Instead of holding onto nagging doubts forever, use hesitations in a positive way. Employ doubts to propel you forward.

When faced with doubt, ask yourself,  “Why do I have this feeling?” See it as a sign that something needs your attention. Take a moment for constructive thought.

As you look for the answer to what is causing your doubts, you may discover truths disguised by the hustle and bustle of life. Don’t stop until the reason for your doubt is clear. After you discover it, you can take action. Only then can you can let go of doubt – and doubt can let go of you!

Realize the Potency of Your Attitude and Beliefs

“A small change in your mind-set may make all the difference in the world.”

Certain attitudes and beliefs mold a positive self-image. When you have a positive mind-set, you know perfection is not a requirement for success, that it’s better to deal with problems than ignore them, that setting your own standards is healthier than comparing self with others and, especially, that self-forgiveness should be exercised, daily.

You may not realize the potency of these attitudes and beliefs. But, beliefs and attitudes are the tools that make achieving goals possible. They also protect you from stress and boost your self-esteem.

So, reflect on your beliefs. Zero in the ones that are slowing you down. Remember, small changes of mind can lead to big rewards that make all the difference in the world!

Add Self-Confidence to Your List of Attributes

“Self-confidence is an attitude.”

Got a pear shape instead of an hourglass figure? Born with two left feet? Some things we can’t do much about, but some things we can. Self-confidence is among the latter, thank goodness!

Self-confidence isn’t about becoming something you’re not, but about recognizing what you already are. Every day, think about the things that make you special; celebrate your skills and your personality attributes; feel proud and walk with your head held high. Before you know it, you’ll be able to add self-confidence to your list of the things that make you YOU!

Renew Your Spirit and Energy

“It’s time for something new.”

Remember your first day of school or the first time you rode a bike? Or how about the excitement of your first kiss?

The older we get, it seems those “firsts” are fewer and further between. When’s the last time you started something new, or tried something for the very first time?

Life gets busy, and we can get so wrapped up in our day-to-day lives that starting something new can seem like an undeserved indulgence. But it shouldn’t be!

Starting a new project, trying something you’ve always wanted to, or revisiting an old activity you used to love doing is a great way to renew your spirit and energy. If there’s something you’ve been thinking of doing, but not getting around to – make at least one step toward it today. You deserve something “new” in your life every once in a while.

Put an End to the Thinking Sabotaging Your Goals

“It’s never too late.”

No matter what is cycling through your head at this very moment, it’s never too late to set goals, to change your life. (Really, it’s not.) Often the hardest part to getting started is overcoming that overwhelmed feeling – the one that occupies  your mind when you contemplate all that you have to do at once.

You think about how long it will take; what sacrifices you have to make. You become bewildered by the endless details and fall back to the comfortable feeling of saying you’ll start next Monday or at the beginning of next month.

Today is the day you put that kind of thinking behind you. Today, focus on taking the first step toward your most cherished goal. Take care of the first detail right now, whatever it may be. Start exercising, dieting or looking for a new job. You know what you need to do.

It’s not too late to get started.
