“Motivation comes from doing, not thinking.”

The longer you sit and think about doing something, the harder it becomes to do it. If you think too much, excuses may paralyze you.

Today is your day to stop thinking and start doing!

When you start doing something, positive energy flows and you become more motivated. So don’t think about how you’re going to exercise. Put on your running shoes and run! Don’t think about how you’ll learn a new skill some day. Go out and book a course, right now!

Stop procrastinating. Start doing! You’ll find a motivation that can change your life!

Turn Your Big Ideas into Reality

“The sooner you focus on your visions, the sooner they will thrive.”

We all know women with big ideas that can’t seem to make them materialize. Are you one of these women? Big ideas and grand visions are never enough. They must be accompanied by a sharp focus.

When you focus on your visions, you gain a sense of personal power, a feeling that you are taking control of your life. Both self-respect and self-esteem get a definite boost, as you learn to consciously stay focused on the positive results you seek.

Don’t waste another day! Stay true to your visions and never lose focus. Before you know it you will be living and breathing your dreams.

Stop Letting the Unexpected Control You

“Don’t let the unexpected control your attitude.”

You wake up in the morning feeling great about your day. Then, you get in your car and it won’t start, or you spill coffee on your new skirt just before a meeting, or the babysitter calls to say she’ll be late.

And, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. One after another, unexpected things happen until you want to scream!

Wait a minute; force yourself to relax and recognize the unexpected for what it is – one of life’s surprises. Take a deep breath and rationally consider your options. Choose the most appropriate way to deal with the situation, then move on.

When you slow down and take this calm approach, you’re empowering yourself with control. And, soon, your attitude will brighten back to the eagerness and energy with which you originally greeted the dawn.

Supercharge Your Satisfaction

“Satisfaction comes from giving your wisdom away.”

Each one of us can make a difference by passing on what we know.

You have something worthwhile to share, regardless of where you are in your life. You’ve built a history and you’ve learned lessons along the way.

It may be as simple as chatting with other women in the same situation and exchanging ideas. It may be giving talks and volunteering in professional organizations.

Never believe that you don’t have something to give. You do! Serve as a role model inspiring and encouraging other women.

Pass on your confidence, moral support and hope to others. Immense satisfaction is what you’ll get back.

Tired of Life Pushing You Around?

“Change makes the difference.”

If you want your life to be something other than it is right now, your only true option is change. Change takes courage and isn’t easy, especially if you’re feeling safe and secure with the way things are.

The hardest part about change is instigating it. This feels risky, but once you take that first step you set things in motion.

Today, is your day to take that first step and stop letting life push you around. Today, is the day you take charge of the changes you need to make in your life.

Start by identifying small things that you would like to change, just tiny things – things that are holding you back. Make a promise to yourself. Then, stick to that promise and watch yourself change. As you tackle small changes, your confidence will grow. You’ll find that bigger changes don’t seem insurmountable. And, most important, that change is rewarding and fun, after all!

Easy Way to Boost in Your Emotional Health

“Allow yourself guilt-free time.”

So many times we live our lives doing what others want us to do or what we think is expected of us. This may be practical at work, where you need to fulfill your job duties, but your personal life is different.

If you’re always doing what others want, you end up neglecting your own interests, needs and desires. Over time, your spirit withers and you feel caught in an undertow of survival.

You’re important and so is the time you need for yourself! Pull out your calendar and mark some time off, just for you. Do it, even if it’s only 30-minutes every few days. Consider this time an investment in your emotional health and wellness. Enjoy it without guilt, no ifs, ands or buts. This is time to give back to yourself!
