It’s not always easy. But, doing what you love means that, each morning, you awaken with passion and excitement at your core.

It means you’re finding hidden strengths you didn’t know you possessed. And, you’re equipped to get over obstacles and disappointments with grace.

Find Your Purpose – It Makes a Huge Difference

“Have you reached your destination?”

Many of us grow up not knowing what we want to do with our lives. It can take years to figure it out, and some never do. Many women change jobs, careers and husbands, searching for their purpose and destination.

To achieve success in finding your way, soul-searching is a necessity. Have an honest conversation with yourself and answer a very tough question. “Who am I?” Think about your strengths, your weaknesses and most importantly your passions.

It may take a day, a week or a month but, when you answer this question, your personal destination becomes clear.

Your direction will not fall in your lap, so don’t waste another moment – create an inner compass and find it yourself.

Deepen Your Appreciation

“The ones you love don’t always know it.”

We have hundreds of ways to express our feelings, through words and gestures both large and small. All too often, however, we keep our feelings to ourselves assuming that those we care for know how much they mean to us. The truth is, they often don’t.

The next chance you get, tell that special someone how much joy they bring into your life. Let them know how special they are to you. Make sure you give a hug and get a hug.

This will deepen your appreciation for one another and brighten your relationship.

Rejuvenate Yourself

“Walking is moving meditation.”

If your life is going in a hundred different directions and moving a million miles an hour, walking may make the burden easier to handle.

Walking allows you to focus on being fully present. It provides you with an opportunity to mull over something that may be on your mind. It gives you a chance to take in the beauty and bounty that surrounds you. Walking can be a time for self-discovery, a time to reconnect with wholeness and harmony.

Take 15-minutes today, and just walk. Let your mind rest. Savor the physical and emotional benefits you gain from moving your body.

This is rejuvenation at its best!

Having a Bad Day? This Will Change That!

“Nothing enriches your life like a friendship.”

You know what it’s like when you get together with a close friend whom you haven’t seen for a long time? It’s like you’ve never been apart; you just pick up where you left off.

Your connection with your friend goes back to all your shared experiences, values and feelings. Time does not diminish those in any way.  Your connection endures time and remains strong.

Think of a friend that is dear to you and that you haven’t connected with lately. Pick up the phone and give her a call. It will make your whole day – and brighten hers, too.

Looking for Answers?

“Listen – and your intuition will lead you to great places.”

Everyone is blessed with the inner wisdom of intuition. But, too often, our logical mind takes the command post and we neglect to listen.

Next time you have a decision to make, sit quietly, without any distractions. Reflect on what your intuition is trying to tell you.

If you have a sense of doubt but you can’t quite put your finger on it, don’t question the “Why.” The answer will come. If something inside you says go for it, follow that hunch. Don’t think about all the reasons why you shouldn’t.

Trust your intuition! It won’t let you down.

In due time, the reasons “Why” will become crystal clear. In the meantime, your intuition will act as a golden compass pointing you toward your dreams.

Face Change With Courage and Strength

“Adventures, especially into new territory, are scary.”

Are you anxious about a new job, a new responsibility, a house move or some other life-changing event? Relax! New adventures make everyone nervous. When you reach beyond your comfort zone, away from what’s familiar and comfortable, anxious feelings are inevitable.

At such times, remember, fear is connected with joy.

We need new experiences to keep our minds fresh. We need new opportunities to feed the creativity of our souls. We need new adventures for personal growth.

Recognize that, through these experiences, you discover new parts of yourself. You might just reveal strength, courage and resilience you didn’t know you had, and how great is that?

So, reach past your fear and celebrate what your new adventures may bring!

How to Get Respect

“People respect you as much as you respect yourself.”

Ever wonder what it is about some women that commands respect? Is it the way they walk? Perhaps it’s the way they talk? Or maybe it is the way they dress? Some of this may be true, but the real secret to respect is having respect for yourself.

Self-respect is about self-confidence, self-affirmation and self-caring. Be proud of what you do, who you are, what you stand for, where you come from and where you’re going.

When you practice self-respect two things happen. You’re less tolerant of disrespect from others and you set an example of how you expect to be treated.

Try it, you’ll get amazing results!
