Face Change With Courage and Strength

“Adventures, especially into new territory, are scary.”

Are you anxious about a new job, a new responsibility, a house move or some other life-changing event? Relax! New adventures make everyone nervous. When you reach beyond your comfort zone, away from what’s familiar and comfortable, anxious feelings are inevitable.

At such times, remember, fear is connected with joy.

We need new experiences to keep our minds fresh. We need new opportunities to feed the creativity of our souls. We need new adventures for personal growth.

Recognize that, through these experiences, you discover new parts of yourself. You might just reveal strength, courage and resilience you didn’t know you had, and how great is that?

So, reach past your fear and celebrate what your new adventures may bring!

Tried & True Formula for Achieving Goals

“Do you set goals then fail to achieve them?”

Too many failed attempts may lead to frustration. Eventually, you either stop setting goals or surrender to the failures that overcome you. Overtime, avoiding disappointment becomes easier than setting new goals, altogether. Your heart wonders, what’s the use in trying?

Let your next goal be different. Before you start, break your ultimate goal into smaller goals. This way you’re placing your expectations of success on your immediate goal, rather than the whole project.

By breaking down your goal in to bite size pieces, the whole can be achieved much more easily. With each milestone, you feel energized and motivated to keep on going.

Instead of being stressed, frustrated, and disappointed, you can now feel good, because you have a doable method to achieve your goals that works like magic!

Does age really matter ?

You are only as old as you think you are. If you embrace new opportunities, seek new learning and stay motivated and lively at heart, you can still do anything. In fact, given the wisdom and experience you’ve amassed over the years, you can probably do more today than you’ve ever been able to do before!

Keep your body lively through healthy diet and exercise. Nurture and exercise your mind with new experiences, new information, new friends, interests and challenges. Stay in touch with the world and no matter what your age, the world will stay in touch with you!

This Will Transform Your Life

“It all starts with a vision.”

A vision is an inspired idea. It is a concept that motivates you and pushes you into action.

You know when a vision hits you, by the energy and excitement you feel. A clear vision gets you charged and keeps you going. The very thought fills you with energy and positive feelings.

Your visions inspire a sense of purpose and direction. They give you a target to aim for, an aspiration to live for. With the motivation that comes from visions, you can transform yourself and your life.

Once you have a vision in mind, use the energy it inspires to create a plan. Then, imagine the plan in motion and the vision achieved. That’s how visions become realities!

Renew Your Spirit and Energy

“It’s time for something new.”

Remember your first day of school or the first time you rode a bike? Or how about the excitement of your first kiss?

The older we get, it seems those “firsts” are fewer and further between. When’s the last time you started something new, or tried something for the very first time?

Life gets busy, and we can get so wrapped up in our day-to-day lives that starting something new can seem like an undeserved indulgence. But it shouldn’t be!

Starting a new project, trying something you’ve always wanted to, or revisiting an old activity you used to love doing is a great way to renew your spirit and energy. If there’s something you’ve been thinking of doing, but not getting around to – make at least one step toward it today. You deserve something “new” in your life every once in a while.

Squeeze Anger Out of Your Life

“Infuse tranquility into your life and relationships.”

Accepting responsibility for what you are feeling is hard, especially when what you are feeling is anger. If you leave angry feelings unresolved, they may turn into resentment, envy, jealousy, revenge and, eventually, hatred. These emotions also lie at the root of depression. And, who wants that?

Is there something that repeatedly makes your blood boil, that you end up screaming and yelling about, every time the subject comes up?

Ask yourself if you’re overreacting or taking something too seriously. If you still feel your anger is justified, change your response. The relief that comes after screaming and yelling is short lived.

Look for more constructive ways to vent. For starters, try talking your way through your anger, instead of reacting with rage.

Be proactive, take charge, be calm and bask in the light of serenity.
