Find Calm in Chaos

“Take care of you!”

If you live inside an out-of-control schedule, like trying to cram three days of work into one, the personal toll is high. Undoubtedly, your stress levels are high and you feel overwhelmed.

It’s okay to slow down and pace yourself. The truth is you’ll accomplish more if you set a reasonable pace; one that you can maintain for the long run.

Don’t forget to schedule time to relax and refresh your body, soul, and spirit. Dinner with friends, a long walk or even a relaxing bubble bath will do wonders in letting go and grounding yourself. You deserve balance in your life.  It’s up to you to make it happen.

Why You Need to be Creative

“Unleash your creative power.”

Many of us do not see ourselves as naturally creative. We fail to recognize and appreciate our innate abilities. That’s because we hold limiting concepts of ourselves, and what it means to be creative. The thesaurus says that creativity is also originality, inspiration and imagination. That describes you, doesn’t it?

Whatever your calling is in life you have the ability to express creativity through it. Whether you want to improve your personal relationships, plant a garden, furnish a home, or cook a gourmet meal – all these avenues offer opportunities for inspired self-expression.

So, see yourself as original, inspired and imaginative. Then, unleash the creativity within and watch your attitude and accomplishments reach new heights you never thought imaginable.

Give Yourself Permission to Break the Rules!

“Dare to dance outside the lines.”

Today is the day to give yourself permission to break the rules, to move outside the boundaries of your usual way of looking at things. For the time being, forget about practical, realistic ideas. Dare to go beyond the self-censorship that comes from worrying about what other people think.

When you follow your heart and dismiss unimportant “shoulds,” you open the door to creative, spiritual and personal breakthroughs. Try it – today!

The secret

secret

Every night before you fall asleep, give heartfelt thanks for the wonderful day you just had (no matter what kind of day you had). Think about the next day, and intend that it is going to be wonderful. Intend that it is going to be the best day of your life. Intend that it is going to be filled with love and joy. Intend that all good is coming to you and everything is going to flow perfectly, etc. Then when you wake in the morning, BEFORE you get out of bed, again declare your intentions for the day and give deep thanks as though you have received them all. As you do this, you will begin to create your life deliberately, and you will experience firsthand the power that is within you to create the life you want. Rhonda Byrne

The Secret

You can let your imagination go wild with a vision board, and place pictures of all the things you want, and pictures of how you want your life to be. Make sure you put the vision board in a place where you see it and look at it every day. Feel the feelings of having those things now. As you receive, and feel gratitude for receiving, you can remove pictures and add new ones. This is a wonderful way to introduce children to the law of attraction.

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

Take Control of Your Career

“Who do you work for?”

No matter what you do or who you work with, the work you do must be for you.

If you’re an employee in a business, think of yourself as a consultant. Start managing your career as you would your own company.

Through this you place much greater value on your time and skills. You take control! And, when you’re in the driver’s seat, you can’t be shaken by the toughest manager, ruffled by office politics, offended by rumors, or frightened by business dips and organizational changes.

No matter what happens, you’ll be okay – because you are your own boss!

Today’s Affirmation: I am my own boss.

Magic Cure for Stress

“Let nature perform its magic.”

There are times when we feel pressured by life. Deadlines are looming, household appliances suddenly break, we’re sleep deprived, or people put unexpected pressures on us. We feel temporarily overwhelmed. We desperately tread water, yet the waves come in relentlessly.

It’s time for a mental break!

When your mind is racing, or you’re close to tears with tiredness and frustration, you need to go within and listen to your inner wisdom. To get in touch with your inner self, seek nature.

Leave the mess that is strewn across the living room floor, walk away from the computer and its ever amassing emails. Go outside. Do nothing. Consciously become aware of your senses. Listen to the noises around you, feel the surface you are sitting, standing, or lying on, smell the scents and aromas around you, see dispassionately what is before you. Escaping into your primary senses temporarily stops thinking and eases stress.

Leave your inner chaos behind and experience the magic of nature today.

Are you chasing happiness?

“Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.”

At first glance this sounds like the same thing, take a closer look, it’s not.

If you’re completely fulfilled by spending time with your friends and family because you really want to be with them then you truly want what you have.

On the flip side, if you drive the nicest car and have a huge house, and have worked hard to get those things, then you’ve been successful at having what you want.

When you have what you want eventually the feeling of satisfaction wears off. Once you get what you want the old wants are replaced by new wants and the cycle continues. True happiness remains at bay.Look around you, happiness may be closer than you think. It may just be a matter of changing what you value.
